The Empty Stockings/Military Project goal is to get custom and handmade knives to troops - most especially troops without families or who are otherwise looking at empty stockings this year. I am coordinating with a unit deployed to Afghanistan for the winter, and will be sending boxes as I get knives ready.

For this project I've come up with a new design- the FKUK- Field Knife, Utility, Koyote. The goal is to produce the best basic large utility knife I can, with a field finish, trying to keep the costs down.

I'll be opening a donation bucket for each knife, and offering a limited number of paired sets for purchase where one of the knives goes to the donor and one to a soldier.
